How to recover from the loss of a job or business

Have you lost your job, business, income or passion for making money? Do you feel sad, lonely and unproductive? Do you feel that dependence on government aid is not something you want to do? Everyone has knowledge about something. What have you achieved in your life that can help others? Have you painted houses, cleaned swimming pools, or had a job that helped you learn a trade or skill?

What hobbies do you have that can help people? Did you work in woodworking, cooking, gardening, working on computers, or motorcycles? Could you help someone learn how to care for an elderly parent, or perhaps help people learn what to look for in good aged care?

Were you a mortgage broker, real estate agent, or insurance agent? Could your knowledge help someone else understand how to research and apply for a mortgage, sell or buy real estate, or even work through foreclosure or bankruptcy?

Yesterday I saw a new food truck serving coffee in a shopping mall parking lot. It looked so inviting that I stopped in for a fresh cup of coffee. While the owner was preparing my coffee, I asked him how it got started.

Before this pandemic he had a lucrative job at a local company. When he was laid off because the company he was working for had closed down, he immediately began to think about what would happen if the company could not open again.

He knew he could make a good cup of coffee. Many of his friends asked him what he did to make his coffee so delicious. He didn’t have a coffee secret to share; But he did make a good cup of coffee.

He finds an old bus for sale at a price he can afford. After weeks of work on the redesign, his bus was ready for a coffee test. Can he actually sell his coffee? Two days after he started his work, he knew the answer was yes.

Everyone has a story! what’s your story Don’t let fear stop you from living your life. think about this; How do you want to live your life? Are you really happy sitting at home doing nothing, watching fake news media. If so then you are living someone else’s life.
