MLM, rhinos and foreigners

Question: Which is real?

Odds are that you will see a unicorn, or be kidnapped by aliens long before you make real $$ in network marketing.

MLM is a great idea that has given hope to millions and millions of people around the world over the past fifty years.

It’s a “life changing” dream and lifestyle makeover. It’s a mirage of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Its irresistible lure is a time honored, well-oiled, high-energy, hype machine with bells and whistles with its “If I Can Do It, You Can Do It” testimonials, one of a kind corporate plans, dazzling websites, and “no system is easy to think of.” .

All you have to do is follow the system and VOILA, you’re rich! Drinks for everyone! Well, this is true of about 3% of all networkers.

It’s time to fire the boss, kiss the receptionist goodbye, and bring your wife home from the workplace. Gee, how are you going to spend all this money?

Welcome to the wonderful world of MLM $$$!

“It’s very easy for a caveman to do.” do what?

The answer: Make it to the top of the corporate plan.

Is that easy? You can substitute “man cave” for just about anything. If you’ve been in network marketing for any length of time, you’ve no doubt heard of these gems:

Monkey can do that

A head of cabbage can do that

A child can do that

My 99-year-old great-grandmother, who is deaf and loves to walk around naked after a shower, can sing “I Did it My Way.”

Your dog Conan the Chocolate Lab can do just that

Even BORAT can do that!

However, there is another list

My name appears on this list at every network marketing opportunity I’ve taken over a year.

I respectfully refer to this list as “The Other List”.

Here’s how to find out if you qualify:

Believe in the ‘dream’ hook, line, and sinker

Do not believe, but sign up anyway

Give in to peer pressure and sign up

Sign up because they are cheap enough to get away with

Buy in “Give It Three Years” Offer

I agree to be “responsible” – (yes, right)

Follow the leader till you become one – (sure)

Spend more weekly, earn less money each month

Participate in company contests but never win

Not knowing that Quick Start doesn’t include you

In the end it fades into nothingness

Finished. Put a fork in me. Look! There is another MLM opportunity. Thank God! You are simply in the “wrong”.

Isn’t that fun?

Barf bag

Are you starting to taste the bile creeping up the back of your throat? Do you feel your head expanding? Is the room spinning? Are you suddenly having trouble keeping your food down? Well, “this too shall pass.”

Take a few deep breaths. All you have to do is just relax. Now, let’s work together. It’s time to save MLM!

MLM – a business model worth saving

I think MLM, otherwise known as “network marketing,” is worth saving. It seems I’m not alone.

For many, it took quite a bit of “hard whacking,” and they lost a small fortune. Friends went underground, and families became part of a witness protection program so they wouldn’t be found by crazy loved ones at the concessions.

MLM has taken many “bad hits” and deservedly so. Only former President Bush has a worse approval rating. Many people wish MLMs like Sub Prime Mortgages and DB Cooper would go away.

This is a quote I’ve heard regarding MLM. “I need MLM like a fish needs a bicycle.” Here’s another thread, “Joining a network marketing business is like showing up with water balloons in a knife fight. It’s going to get messy. It’s amazing, you’re either dead against network marketing or you’ll defend it to the death.”

What has always inspired and captivated me about the concept of MLM is its irresistible contrast with functionality.

It’s all not in the job. . . Supposedly.

Being in control versus being controlled.

It determines your income for paid work.

It gives yourself massive raises month after month in exchange for cringing at a 3% increase once a year.

He’s always looking forward versus looking over your shoulder for the BOSS.

And gets paid over and over again for something you did once for “no work, no pay.”

MLM Represents Financial Freedom! The job represents an improper retirement.

So, isn’t MLM obviously worth saving?

Are you ready to start feeling better about yourself?

“You can’t handle the truth!!”

I’ll give you one secret and here it is. Other than choosing to participate, it’s not your fault that you haven’t succeeded in network marketing. It’s a “you can do it” make your tail, fake it till you make it, the system your company sold you.

If so, why are you there? Network marketing is not for everyone. I love him, but that doesn’t mean I can do it successfully.

Are you just human like me? (If you’re not sure, just look in the mirror.)

This brings me to the internet. Network marketing was a preparation for internet marketing and affiliate marketing. So thank you network marketing! I definitely owe you one. take a look! Not later, this is one of those moments now.
